When I was in my younger days, I weighed a few pound less. I needn’t hold my tummy in to wear a belted dress. But now that I am older, I’ve set my body free. There’s comfort of elastic where once my waist would be. Inventor of high heeled shoes my feet have not forgiven. I used to only wear a six now I wear a seven. And how about those blasted tights they’re sized by weight you see. So how come when I put them on the crotch is at my knee. I need to wear these glasses as the prints been getting smaller and it wasn’t very long ago I know that I was taller. Though my hair has turned to grey and my skin no longer fits. On the inside, I’m the same old me, the outsides changed a bit.

Fad/fashion Items and Colours
Many people when carrying out improvements spend monies installing fad/fashion
items that depreciate quickly thus not adding any long term value to the home. Bright
colours on feature walls especially. Wall papers with a theme and special messages. It
pays to go with quality before individuality because quality is what most everyday
buyers appreciate.
Stay focused on your objective
Never lose sight of your objectives and why you came to the market in the first place.
Clearly identify your objectives and the action steps required to fill these objectives.
If it means a price reduction then do it in consultation with your agent but only after
they have shown reliable information for a reduction. If it means making another
financial outlay to back your own judgement, do so.

FAILING TO CONSULT PROFESSIONAL ADVISORS BEFORE SELLING

When selling, most owners will either be paying back monies or borrowing more. On
today’s market, mortgages can be fixed, floating or interest only. Breaking a fixed
mortgage normally brings a penalty. This cost has to be taken into consideration when
buying/selling. Check with your bank before entering into an agreement if you have a
fixed mortgage. You might be thousands out of pocket. Check when your money on
fixed deposit is available. It will be cheaper to work possession dates around maturing
of investments instead of borrowing. Shop around for your best rates on Mortgage &
Interest, Solicitor fees, Valuation, and House Check Fees. Remember discounted fees
may be attractive but the difference could be charged in other areas.
